This is Gambles... In these photos he is covering the songs from PJ Harvey's album " Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea." If he ever decides to do this again, it's a must see show...or even if he doesn't and he is just covering his own songs, his shows are a must see. I first saw Gambles open for The Maccabees back in 2013 at Bowery Ballroom and I have been hooked ever since. If you haven't listened to his latest album Vicious Times be sure to do so. Boots lends a helping hand in the creation of it and your ears will not be disappointed.
This past Tuesday I had the opportunity to catch an amazing show at Rockwood Music Hall...These acts are a must see if they tour near you...
On Saturday, March 12th 2016 Gambles played the entirety of his new album Vicious Times to a packed room at Berlin in NYC...
This past December I had the chance to catch Foals at Terminal 5 in NYC....This is what went down......

Sometimes when you have the opportunity to see a musician 3 nights in a row, you grab the bull by the horns and just do it. Along the way, you might have some ups and downs, but in the end it all comes together; because what is life without a bump in the road here or there....
Keep on checking back for photos....
NIGHT ONE: Bobby Long w/ Brian Dunne
Night Two:Bobby Long W/ Brian Dunne
Brian Dunne is a must see artist. I was lucky enough to see him open two nights in a row for Bobby. i had also previously seen him open for Bobby at Mercury lounge. If you can be sure to pick up his album(s) either online or when you are able to attend his next live show in your area.
night two of this trio of shows was just as magical as the first. Whether Bobby is playing to a room of 20+ or a room packed with 250+ he always gives it his all on stage. this was my fourth time seeing him at The Linda, a venue up in Albany, NY that used to be a bank, and the green room is what used to be their vault. If you're up in that area be sure to check out a local show at the venue; you will not be disappointed.
Night three: Bobby long
They say the third time is a charm, and this night was just that, a charm. Bobby played at at a new venue to him, and I'm sure he will return to that venue for years to come. The Kate, in Old Saybrook, CT is a place that you go to once and will constantly want to return to. Even though the venue wasn't packed, the enthusiasm and attentiveness from the audience more than made up for that. The whole night, Bobby's face was lit up and you felt this excited energy in the air, which I was very happy to see.
I'm very grateful for being able to do what I do on the side of my nine to five job and meet the people i meet along the way. Even though there were some hiccups on this trip i wouldn't change a single thing. here's to many more...
Be sure to check out Bobby when he is near. Starting tomorrow and through the rest of October and into November he will be on tour through Europe and the UK. Dates listed below:

This past Saturday I embarked on a journey down to Vienna, VA for Bobby Long's record release show at Jammin' Java for his new album "Ode to Thinking."
Long, who is going to be on tour the next few months, is an artist you DON'T want to miss if he's playing live near you. At every show he gives it his all, and trust me, you will NOT be disappointed.
At this show, Bobby, played the entirety of his new album, with a few oldies at the end. Trust me, you will love the new version of "Penance Fire Blues." Be sure to stick around after and pick up some of his merchandise. Currently he has his new album, totes, and the tour poster which he will be most likely more than happy to sign.
